In this sense, <strong>Chris Cox<\/strong>, Product Director at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hosteltur.com\/tag\/facebook\">Facebook<\/a>, has recognized that <strong>&#8220;it is not for everyone, but we are excited about the enormous field of possibilities it opens&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The interview conducted by <strong>Nicholas Carlson<\/strong>, editor of <strong>Insider<\/strong>, which has had its version in Metaverse, has focused on its application in the <strong>world of work<\/strong>, and specifically in the segment of <strong>meetings<\/strong>, as already advanced <strong>HOSTELTUR<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hosteltur.com\/\">tourism news<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hosteltur.com\/147673_el-metaverso-de-zuckerberg-revolucionara-los-modelos-de-trabajo.html\">Zuckerberg&#8217;s Metaverse will revolutionize work models<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_105453_web-summit-2021-facebook-r-1024x563.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_105453_web-summit-2021-facebook-r-1024x563.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_105453_web-summit-2021-facebook-r-300x165.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_105453_web-summit-2021-facebook-r-768x422.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_105453_web-summit-2021-facebook-r.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Chris Cox, on the left of the image, spoke online at the Web Summit in an interview that ran in parallel on Metaverse (on the screen on the right). And, as Chris Cox reminded us, &#8220;the way we work now has nothing to do with how we did it 30 years ago, so no one can know what will happen in the future&#8221;. What is clear to him is that &#8220;reality will remain what it is, but computing will undoubtedly improve productivity&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>And he predicts a great development of this parallel world &#8220;now that regulators, technicians, universities, journalists, entrepreneurs and workers are focused on it&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In Facebook, of course, they have already tested it and Cox has highlighted the advantages it offers over a videoconference to use to provide greater expressiveness to their gestures, although Carlson still does not see it clearly because he can not imagine holding a serious meeting between avatars.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h4><b>THE DARK SIDE OF FACEBOOK<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>He has not been the only one, as Michael Isikoff, chief investigative correspondent for Yahoo News, in his interview with Cecilia Kang, New York Times reporter and author of the book &#8220;An Ugly Truth: Inside the Battle for Facebook Domination,&#8221; has questioned whether no one in his inner circle has been able to tell Zuckerberg that the idea of Metaverse &#8220;sucks&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_110041_web-summit-2021-facebook-nyt-r-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_110041_web-summit-2021-facebook-nyt-r-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_110041_web-summit-2021-facebook-nyt-r-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_110041_web-summit-2021-facebook-nyt-r-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.viap.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/L_110041_web-summit-2021-facebook-nyt-r.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><br \/>\nNew York Times journalist Cecilia Kang revealed the ins and outs of Facebook in her book &#8220;An Ugly Truth: Inside the Battle for Facebook Domination&#8221; in this interview.<\/p>\n<p>Kang has drawn attention to how unusual it is that &#8220;<strong>a company the size of Facebook continues to have its founder as CEO<\/strong> and with that weight in the decision making process, holding 54% of the capital&#8221;, giving as an example companies like  <strong>Apple, Google or Microsoft<\/strong> that have already passed that stage.<\/p>\n<p>The journalist stressed that &#8220;<strong>its business model is not bad in itself, but the company has made growth its priority without solving the problems it already had<\/strong>.
